Computer Science seemed like a logical choice for Jason Moyer to pursue when he was a kid. A natural problem solver with an affinity for mathematics, Jason was hooked into network design and engineering when he accepted an opportunity to intern with a company outside of Pittsburgh during college.
Jason, a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer, has been a CSB partner since 2005. Besides his expertise with Microsoft applications and products, Jason is a Cisco Certified Network Associate, Cisco Sales Expert, and a Citrix Certified Administrator. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and has extensive years of experience as a network administrator, a senior network engineer, and a data communications specialist.
While he knew early on that computers were in his future, he has had experience doing other things. The strangest job he ever held was during his freshman year of college, when he worked a third shift packing chocolate Easter bunnies for a candy factory. Jason also played collegiate volleyball and was named to the First Team at the East Coast Collegiate Club Championships and Division II Collegiate Club National Championships.
Jason worked as an engineering consultant with CSB Technology Partners for several years before becoming a partner, and credits the CSB commitment to its mission of “customer first” as his primary reason for coming on board full-time. “It is very refreshing to work with other people,” states Jason, “that have the same drive and commitment to the customer as I have.”
Jason and his wife live in Mount Joy, Pennsylvania with their two children where they are active members of the community. They attend LCBC Church in Manheim and are involved philanthropically with the Water Street Rescue Mission and other local charities.
