• Wolf Suing IBM over Failed Tech Upgrades for Unemployment Compensation

    Gov. Tom Wolf’s administration is suing technology giant International Business Machines Corp. for its role in a failed attempt to upgrade the state’s unemployment compensation technology.

    The company’s actions allegedly cost Pennsylvania taxpayers nearly $170 million and stuck the state’s already-burdened unemployment compensation system with decades-old technology, according to a news release from Wolf’s office.
